How your Google Business Profile helps customers find you.

Before they reach your website

Someone looking for a plumber nearby may see a map, opening hours, reviews and a call button before they visit a website. Your Google Business Profile is one place to keep those details current. A website then gives them more room to explore your work.

Check the details people rely on

Look at your business category, services, phone number and opening hours, including public holidays. Make sure your address or service area accurately describes how you serve customers. Add recent photos of real work and your team where appropriate.

Give reviews some attention

Invite customers to leave an honest review after a job, and take time to respond thoughtfully. More reviews and positive ratings can help local visibility, but there’s no review count or star rating that guarantees a position. Relevance and location also matter.

One useful job this week

Open your profile and check it as a customer would. Can you find the right number? Are the hours accurate? Do the photos reflect the work you do now? Fix anything misleading before adding more content.
